Knowledge is Power

We want you to enjoy that power, in learning how to care for elders.

Please join us for our 4th Annual Elder Care Symposium. We offer this comprehensive learning opportunity to strengthen and enrich the lives of dedicated caregivers and the skilled professionals who serve at their sides. Please join us for one of two information-packed days of education that will provide you with the latest wisdom and know-how in this challenging area.

Community Day, Wednesday October 16, 2019

This will be a full, FREE day of engaging and informative presentations. You will be assisted in your care-giving responsibilities, informed about the breadth of hospice services available, and helped to understand how to pay for long-term care.

Find the Community Day program here. Register here. Or, call Charin (pronounced “Karen”) Adams at 870.425.2460; e-mail: cadams@drakeandcash.com

Professional Day, Tuesday October 15, 2019

For a modest fee, this full day of presentations for medical professionals will earn six hours of continuing-education credit.

Find the Professional Day registration information here. Or, call Carolyn Ellis at 870.508.6340; e-mail: cellis@asumh.edu

All activities will be in the Vada Sheid Community Development Center, ASU-MH.

Sincere thanks to our co-presenters: Baxter Regional Medical Center, ASU-MH, and the Mruk Family Education Center on Aging. And thanks to our much-appreciated many sponsors, without whom this event would not have been possible: Elmcroft by Eclipse Senior Living, Good Samaritan Society Mountain Home, Home Instead Senior Care, Reliance, Hospice of the Ozarks, Baxter Regional Medical Center Home Health, Jay Chafin of State Farm Insurance, and First Security Bank.
